چکیده
The luminescence properties of NASICON-type Na3.6M1.8(PO4)3 (M = Y, Lu) and Na3Sc2(PO4)3 phosphates, undoped rare earth-doped (RE Tb3+, Dy3+, Eu3+, Ce3+), were studied using synchrotron radiation in a wide energy region 4.5–45 eV. Intrinsic emission originating from self-trapped excitons with electron component localized at the 3d Sc states was detected both doped while only defect-related registered Na3.6M1.8(PO4)3. Emission RE ions substituting three-valent cations low-symmetry sites all phosphates. efficiency pass ways transfer host to centres analysed based on excitation spectra. It is shown that most efficient realized Tb3+-doped phosphors, it poor for other ions. differences efficiencies are explained by different position f crystal electronic band structure influencing charge carrier trapping substance. Based spectra analysis, bandgap values estimated ~8 eV

Nuclear Fluorescence Using High-energy Synchrotron Radiation
We present some measurements of nuclear fluorescence which were made while exploring the potential of a unique source of very hard x-rays which was installed at ESRF until recently. It produced radiation of energies up to 1MeV. In this range there are many nuclear resonances, and so we made a small survey of some plausible candidates to see if they could indeed be excited using this source. Alo...
متن کاملSlc Energy Spectrum Monitor Using Synchrotron Radiation’
The SLAC Liiac is being upgraded for the use in the SLAC Linear Collider (SLC). The improved Linac must accelerate electron and positron bunches from 1.2 GeV to 50 GeV while producing output energy spectra of about 0.2 %. The energy spectra must be maintained during operation to provide for good beam transmission and to minimize chromatic effects in the SLC ARCs and Find Focus. The energy spect...
متن کاملExcitation energy transfer in condensed media
We derive an expression for resonance energy transfer between a pair of chromophores embedded in a condensed medium by considering the energy splitting of the chromophores from their resonant excited states. We employ time-dependent density functional response theory in our derivation. The linear response theory treatment is rigorous within the framework of time-dependent density functional the...

EET in reconstituted Lhca4, a peripheral light-harvesting complex from Photosystem I of Arabidopsis thaliana, containing 10 chlorophylls and 2 carotenoids, was studied at room temperature by femtosecond transient absorption spectroscopy. Two spectral forms of Lut were observed in the sites L1 and L2, characterized by significantly different interactions with nearby chlorophyll a molecules. A fa...
متن کاملInvestigation of High-Energy Ion-Irradiated MA957 Using Synchrotron Radiation under In-Situ Tension
In this study, an MA957 oxide dispersion-strengthened (ODS) alloy was irradiated with high-energy ions in the Argonne Tandem Linac Accelerator System. Fe ions at an energy of 84 MeV bombarded MA957 tensile specimens, creating a damage region ~7.5 μm in depth; the peak damage (~40 dpa) was estimated to be at ~7 μm from the surface. Following the irradiation, in-situ high-energy X-ray diffraction...
